Dave is responsible for managing Wilmington Trust’s New England region, including all administrative and business development functions for personal trust, investment management, and private banking. In this role, he oversees the development and coordination of Wealth Management services for prominent individuals, families, and middle market institutional investment accounts. Dave and his team work closely with clients and their advisors to develop financial strategies that help clients meet their current needs and plan for their long-term objectives.

Dave has more than 30 years of experience in investment management, working in both the wealth and institutional asset management arenas. Most recently, he was the chief operating officer and portfolio manager for Argent Wealth Management, where he had broad oversight of the organization on a daily basis. Previously, he served as president and chief market strategist for Braver Wealth Management and Braver Capital Management of Needham, MA. Prior to joining Braver in 2008, he led the Private Investment Management group for Lee Munder Investments LTD., and served as portfolio manager and analyst for a globally diversified equity product, Global Multi Cap, which he created. Dave’s prior experience also includes portfolio management and security research roles at Babson Capital, Bingham Legg Advisers, Congress Asset Management, and Mellon Bank (The Boston Company).

He holds a master’s degree in finance from Boston College and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bentley College. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society. Additionally, Dave is a CFP® professional having earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.

Dave is actively involved in his community where he has served as a coach and mentor. He serves on the board of the Lynnfield Little League and was previously an active member of its finance committee. During leisure time Dave enjoys outdoor family activities including boating, skiing, fishing, and hiking. He has a true passion for baseball and the capital markets.
