As Chief Wealth Strategist, Marguerite builds trusted relationships with clients and their teams of advisors to help design personalized wealth strategies that reflect each client’s goals, values, and legacy. With a goal of delivering thoughtful guidance for every stage of life, Marguerite is passionate about making wealth planning comprehensive, but also approachable. She is committed to helping clients feel more confident that the decisions they make today will create a lasting impact tomorrow.
In her role, she oversees and leads a national team of wealth strategists and other professionals who specialize in trust and estate, tax, business succession, and philanthropic planning. Prior to her role as chief wealth strategist, Marguerite developed the firm’s family legacy offering.
Before joining Wilmington Trust, Marguerite was an associate in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ personal financial services group in their Philadelphia office. She holds a JD and master of laws (LL.M.) in taxation from Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law and earned her bachelor’s of science and bachelor’s of arts degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Marguerite has been teaching estate planning at Philadelphia-area law schools for over a decade and is currently an adjunct professor at Drexel University’s Klein School of Law. She is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Probate and Trust Section’s executive committee, previously co-chairing the section’s tax committee. She is an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, serving as a committee liaison.
She sits on the executive committee of the ADL’s Greater Philadelphia regional board and co-chairs the development committee. As is an active member of the education committee, she previously served as co-chair for the Philadelphia Youth Leadership Conference Task Force. She has also served as vice chair of the board of directors for WOMEN’S WAY, a local Philadelphia charity serving women and girls. In 2021, Marguerite was recognized by the American Bankers Association as a recipient of the ABA Under 40 in Wealth Management Awards. This award recognizes wealth management and fiduciary professionals who are committed to the highest standards of achievement at work and in their communities.
