Joshua Landsman
Senior Wealth Strategist
As part of the Wilmington Trust Emerald Family Office & Advisory® team, Josh is responsible for providing strategic and holistic wealth planning advice to successful high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, executives, and their families by reviewing and illustrating their current plans, highlighting potential deficiencies, and modeling effective tax and estate planning strategies.
Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, Josh practiced law in South Florida, most recently at Hinman, Howard, & Kattell, LLP and Frank, Weinberg & Black, PL where he was the chair of the firm’s Trusts and Estates Practice Group. In his role as an attorney, Josh counseled clients on how to achieve their wealth transfer and asset protection goals while mitigating their exposure to income, gift, and estate taxes. Josh also worked as an attorney at Davis & Harman, LLP in Washington, D.C. where he advised large employers and financial institutions in the areas of employee benefits and insurance taxation.
Josh holds a LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law and a J.D. from University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he graduated cum laude with a Certificate in Estate Planning. Josh holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Florida.
Josh is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law and Taxation Sections of the Florida Bar. He is a graduate of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel’s (ACTEC) Florida Fellows Institute (Class III) and is admitted to practice law in Florida and the District of Columbia.
