Head, Wilmington Trust
As Head, Wilmington Trust, Jennifer oversees two businesses: Wealth Management and Institutional Services. Wilmington Trust’s Wealth business offers a wide range of services, including financial planning, trust and estate administration and private banking to individuals and families throughout the U.S. The Institutional Services team provides trust, custody, and agency services to corporations, government agencies, foundations, and investment plans across the U.S. and Europe.
Prior to joining M&T and Wilmington Trust in 2022, Jennifer served as CEO of Computershare’s North American Issuer Services business, providing shareholder services to more than 6,000 public companies. Jennifer also served as Canadian general counsel at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) and, later as president and CEO of CIBC’s U.S. business. In these roles, Jennifer led teams across North America, navigated the challenges of the global financial crisis and repositioned the U.S. business — including broker-dealer operations, wealth management, corporate banking, real estate finance, and capital markets—for both organic and inorganic growth.
Jennifer believes that serving others is a privilege and has been a longstanding supporter of the United Way in both the U.S. and Canada. She is a current member of the boards of directors of the United Way of New York City and the Partnership Fund for New York City. Jennifer also serves on the Investment Committee and Board of Trustees of Granite REIT, a Canada-based real estate investment trust focused on the development and ownership of logistical and industrial properties in North America and Europe.
Born and raised in Canada, Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Science and a law degree from the University of Toronto.
