Denise is responsible for managing the Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey region’s administrative and business development functions for all lines of business, which includes partnering with regional Business line leadership teams to drive Market Strategy, Business Development, Talent Management, and Financial Performance. Denise is instrumental in uniting colleagues to connect with our clients and communities around their goals and needs. Denise is a proven leader who has been dedicated to the banking industry for over 40 years. She joined M&T Bank in 2017 and served as the market leader for commercial banking in Philadelphia and South Jersey. Prior to joining M&T, Denise was an executive vice president for PNC, specializing in servicing and leading teams dedicated to diversified portfolios of both privately held and publicly tradedcompanies, primarily in the middle market.

Denise holds bachelor’s degree in education from St. Joseph’s University and has successfully completed extensive leadership training and development at PNC, M&T, and Cornell University. St. Joseph’s University recognized Denise with the Alumni Professional Leadership Achievement Award in 2019, and with the Timothy R. Lannon Leadership Award in 2011.

In addition, she has been recognized with multiple awards for her leadership and career accomplishments. In 2025, she was part of the Wilmington Trust team honored with the American Banker’s Most Powerful Women in Banking Top Team award. South Jersey Biz named her as one of the Who’s Who in Banking in 2021, as one of the Power 50 Executives in 2019, as an Executive of the Year in 2018, and as one of the Women to Watch in 2010. In 2009, Denise was recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as a Woman of Distinction.* In 2017, she was recognized as a Woman of Distinction by the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey.

Denise is actively engaged in the community and currently serves on the executive board of the South Jersey Chamber of Commerce and is a board member of Mission Kids, Inc., a child advocacy center in East Norriton, PA. She is a former member of the board of trustees of Saint Joseph’s University and presently serves as a member of the Real Estate Advisory Board. Denise is an avid sports fan who has coached youth basketball, and she enjoys being a mentor and public speaker on various topics. She resides in Cinnaminson, NJ, with her husband, Michael, and daughters, Ashley and Lauren.
