Migrating from Client Point to Wilmington Trust Online

On July 2, 2022, online access for your wealth accounts will move from Client Point to Wilmington Trust Online, an intuitive digital experience with capabilities that can simplify how you monitor your accounts. We’ve put together this online resource center, so you know what to expect.

Frequently Asked Questions

Follow these instructions to log into Wilmington Trust Online on or after July 2, 2022.

  1. Locate the email sent through our secure, encrypted email delivery system containing your temporary password. Please follow the instructions in the email to access your temporary password. 
  2. Once you have your temporary password, please visit  https://secure.wilmingtontrust.com/login.
  3. Enter your User ID and temporary password and click “Login.” Your User ID is the same as your Client Point Access ID.
  4. Enter the temporary password again, followed by a new password of your choice and click “Submit.” Note that your new password must be at least 8 characters long and must have a combination of at least 1 letter and 1 number.*
  5. Once you have successfully changed your password, click “Return to Login.” You will then be required to log in with your new password.
  6. Review the User Agreement(s), by clicking each link and clicking “I Agree” at the bottom.
  7. You will subsequently be required to establish security settings by verifying the email address and mobile phone associated with your online profile that may be used to verify your identity using multi-factor authentication.

* Full password rules: Must be at least 8 characters in length and have a combination of at least 1 letter and 1 number, cannot be the same as your User ID or repeat the last four passwords, can have no more than 3 repeating characters, and may only contain the following special characters: -.&(),_@

  • Make sure you know your Client Point Access ID. This will be the same as the User ID used for Wilmington Trust Online.
  • Transaction history will not be migrated from Client Point to Wilmington Trust Online; however, we are planning to migrate a population of historical account statements (up to two years) to Wilmington Trust Online. You will continue to have access to Client Point for 60 days after conversion if you wish to download specific statements you don’t see in Wilmington Trust Online. 
  • Your Advisor will still have access to account statements older than two years if the need arises.

Prior to the conversion, you may contact 1-800-722-8778 for support with logging in to Client Point.

After July 2, 2022, please call Premier Services at 1-800-982-4620 for assistance with logging into Wilmington Trust Online.

As of July 2, 2022, your accounts will have migrated to Wilmington Trust Online and the data in Client Point will not be up to date and should not be relied on for current information about the account(s). As of June 30, 2022, you can view static balances and positions, access statements and view historical transaction activity in Client Point. You will still have access to your Client Point account for up to 60 days after conversion.
