Direct Registration Services
As of December 1, 2009, all registered shareholder common stock transactions are made using the Direct Registration System (DRS). With DRS, shares of stock are held electronically in book-entry form, and physical stock certificates are no longer issued.
DRS improves convenience and reduces risk. Shares held in book-entry form cannot be lost, stolen, or misplaced. In addition, DRS is an ecologically friendly alternative to printing stock certificates.
For more information about DRS, read the DRS Frequently Asked Questions.
