What are Wilmington Trust Investment Management Services?
These services provide secure, remote account access to clients worldwide through the Internet. Clients may run consolidated performance reports, view individual account reports (for Pershing accounts), and access detailed information on Private Funds.
What is the cost?
This is a free service provided to Wilmington Trust Investment Management clients. There are no additional or incremental costs.
What are the system requirements?
Because these services are accessed through the Internet, you do not need any special software. You may, however, be prompted to download updates and/or special plug-ins, and controls to your browser, which are typically provided free of charge by various service providers.
We recommend that your computer meet the following minimum specifications for accessing client log-in and other parts of this site:
How do I sign up?
Select Account Center from the top navigation bar. Then select Set Up Online Access followed by Wilmington Trust Investment Management Services to complete the sign-up process. After your request has been processed, we will send you a letter, via the U.S. Postal Service, with your user ID and Password. Upon receipt of this letter, you can immediately log in to the service.
Is it safe to view statements on the Internet?
To ensure that our clients have the highest level of security available, we require your use of a "strong encryption" (128-bit) browser to access these services. Data is transferred via a "secure session" established with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL 128-bit encryption technology). This encryption, or sophisticated "scrambling" technology, enables safe, private and confidential communications between you and Wilmington Trust Investment Management. It is the standard and most sophisticated technology in use today throughout the financial services industry.
128-Bit Encryption Download Instructions
Note that some older versions of browsers will not support SSL sessions. If you do not already have a browser with SSL capabilities, you can download an SSL browser free of charge from either of the links below. Although many different browsers are available, Microsoft® Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator are the two most popular. Downloading a browser installation file may take 3-90 minutes, depending on your connection speed. For additional assistance, please contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP). If you access the web from a corporate network, we recommend that you contact your network administrator before downloading a new browser.
Statements viewed in a browser use what are called "session-only" cookies. These must be enabled by your browser. We do not use permanent cookies, and therefore do not store any permanent information on your computer.
Can I use these services overseas?
Yes, as long as you are not located in a country to which the exporting of strong encryption is prohibited under U.S. exporting laws and regulations. Because our services provide Internet-based account access service, they are available virtually worldwide, provided that you have a compatible browser with 128-bit encryption.
What days and hours can I use these services?
Wilmington Trust Investment Management Services will normally be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, there will be periodic down periods for system maintenance and/or upgrades. If these periods are extensive in length, we will generally notify clients beforehand.
How current is the information displayed in my account session?
Statements are generated as you request them but, depending on the type of information requested and how each account is set up, the data displayed may be daily, monthly, or quarterly. The statement you see is as current as the statement that Wilmington Trust Investment Management would produce for you at that time.
What do I do if I forget my password?
If you have forgotten your user ID or Password, please call our On-Line Services Team at 1-877-982-5483. Representatives are available to assist you Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM ET and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM ET.
What is a PDF file and what software do I need to install in order to view these files?
A PDF (Portable Document File) file allows a user to view and print a file exactly as it was created in its original authoring application, regardless of what platform, software application version or fonts are installed on the user's system. Adobe Acrobat® Reader® software is a utility for viewing Adobe PDF files and can be downloaded free of charge from Adobe's website at www.adobe.com.
How do I download Macromedia® FlashTM Player?
You can download Flash Player free of charge by logging on to www.macromedia.com.
