Joint Ownership
- Also called joint tenancy. Ownership by two or more individuals giving each owner equal interest and equal rights in the property, including the right of survivorship. At the death of a joint owner, assets held in joint tenancy with right of survivorship immediately transfer to the surviving joint owner.

Judgment - The final determination by a court of the rights and claims of the parties to an action.

Junk Bond - A bond with a speculative credit rating of BB or lower. Such bonds offer investors higher yields than bonds of more financially sound companies.
